Nana Pat’s Goodies is a Gainesville Florida based gourmet food company. The business is run by me, Nana Pat. I am a mother, grandmother, professional cook, nature lover, amateur photographer and philosopher.
Nana Pat’s Goodies is run with a simple philosophy, be kind – to our planet, other people and to our bellies. My focus is on using seasonal, locally produced goods to make wholesome wonderful jams, jellies and mustards. I also believe in having fun while working, so my recipes are unique, meant to taste good, and appeal to all sorts of folks.
My jams and jellies are very low in sugar. I use one quarter of the sugar most traditional recipes call for. My fruit butters are sugar free. I never use preservatives, food coloring or artificial anything. I use locally produced honey, from apiaries I know and trust.
My mustards are made with locally produced beer (Swamphead Brewery and Cigar City), local honey, locally grown fruit and (when possible) locally produced wine. I start with whole yellow and brown mustard seeds then, soak, ferment and grind them.
Please look at my products page for more information on our goodies.
Thank you for stopping by my page. I hope to see you at a one of the markets we sell at. The Union Street Farmers Market in downtown Gainesville on Wednesday afternoons, and the Haile Plantation Farmers Market on Saturday morning. Please stop by and say “Hi.” I love to talk about my products!
